REPORT A PROBLEM

Help us keep ATX Africa accurate, secure and useful for travellers, tourism businesses and travel partners.

If you experience a problem while using ATX Africa or notice information that may be incorrect, misleading, inappropriate or otherwise concerning, you can report it to our support team.

1. What Can You Report?

You can contact ATX Africa to report issues such as:

Incorrect Tour or Package Information

Report information that appears inaccurate, outdated or misleading, including:

  • Incorrect prices

  • Incorrect availability

  • Wrong destinations

  • Incorrect itineraries

  • Missing or inaccurate inclusions

  • Misleading package descriptions

  • Outdated business information

Supplier or Business Concerns

You may report concerns about a tourism business or Supplier listed on ATX Africa, including:

  • Suspicious business information

  • Misrepresentation of services

  • False credentials or claims

  • Fraudulent or misleading offers

  • Serious concerns about a Supplier's conduct

Technical Problems

You can report technical issues such as:

  • Broken pages

  • Links that do not work

  • Problems with registration or login

  • Problems submitting inquiries

  • Errors when viewing or searching packages

  • Problems with your Supplier dashboard

  • Problems adding or managing tour packages

  • Other website functionality issues

Inappropriate or Prohibited Content

You can report content that appears to:

  • Violate ATX policies

  • Infringe intellectual property rights

  • Contain fraudulent or misleading information

  • Contain abusive or discriminatory material

  • Promote illegal activities

  • Include inappropriate or harmful material

Account and Security Issues

Please report suspected:

  • Unauthorized account access

  • Suspicious account activity

  • Security vulnerabilities

  • Phishing or fraudulent messages

  • Misuse of ATX accounts

  • Other security concerns


2. How to Report a Problem

To report a problem, please send an email to our support team:

Please provide as much relevant information as possible so that our team can understand and investigate the issue.

Where applicable, include:

  • Your name

  • Email address

  • Company name, if applicable

  • Supplier or business name

  • Tour or package name

  • Page URL

  • A clear description of the problem

  • Date and approximate time the issue occurred

  • Any relevant error message

  • Screenshot of the problem or error

  • Any other information that may help our team

For technical problems, please include a screenshot of the error whenever possible. Screenshots can help our support team identify the problem and resolve it more efficiently.

Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.

3. Reporting a Specific Tour, Supplier or Technical Problem

If your report concerns a specific tour package, Supplier, website page or technical problem, please include the relevant details in your email.

For example:

Supplier or Business Name:
Name of the Supplier, if applicable.

Tour or Package Name:
Name of the affected package, if applicable.

Page URL:
The ATX Africa page where the problem appears.

Problem Description:
Explain clearly what appears to be incorrect or what went wrong.

Screenshot:
Attach a screenshot of the issue, especially for technical errors.

Providing these details helps our support team identify the affected page, package or account more quickly.


4. What Happens After You Report a Problem?

ATX Africa may review the information provided and, where appropriate:

  • Investigate the reported issue.

  • Contact the relevant Supplier or user.

  • Request additional information.

  • Correct inaccurate platform information.

  • Request changes to a package or profile.

  • Temporarily hide or restrict content.

  • Remove content that violates applicable policies.

  • Restrict or suspend an account where appropriate.

  • Take other reasonable action based on the circumstances.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that ATX Africa will take a particular action.

ATX may also be unable to disclose the outcome of an investigation where privacy, security, legal or other legitimate considerations prevent us from doing so.


5. Urgent Safety or Security Concerns

If you believe that a situation presents an immediate threat to someone's safety or involves an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency services or authorities first.

For urgent ATX account or platform security concerns, contact our support team as soon as possible at:

Please clearly indicate that your report concerns an urgent security issue.


6. False or Abusive Reports

Reports should be submitted honestly and in good faith.

You must not use the reporting process to:

  • Harass a Supplier or user.

  • Submit knowingly false information.

  • Attempt to damage a competitor.

  • Manipulate search results.

  • Repeatedly submit abusive or irrelevant reports.

  • Misuse the reporting process for commercial or personal disputes unrelated to ATX Africa.

ATX may restrict access to reporting or support features where they are repeatedly abused.


7. Privacy

Information submitted through a problem report may be used to investigate and respond to the reported issue.

ATX Africa may share relevant information with a Supplier or other party where reasonably necessary to investigate or resolve the issue, subject to applicable privacy and data protection requirements.

9. Important Note

ATX Africa operates as a digital tourism marketplace connecting tourism businesses with travellers, travel agents, tourism professionals and other tourism partners.

A report submitted to ATX does not automatically establish that a Supplier, package, user or other party has violated any law or ATX policy.

Reports may be reviewed based on the information provided and the information reasonably available to ATX at the time of review.

ATX may determine the appropriate action based on the nature and seriousness of the reported issue.
