1
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park – Game Drive
Depart from Dar es Salaam in the morning and travel toward Mikumi National Park through the scenic landscapes of southern Tanzania.
On arrival, begin your safari with a game drive across Mikumi's open plains. Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests and other wildlife. With luck, you may also spot lions and other predators.
Enjoy lunch according to your confirmed arrangements, then continue exploring the park during the afternoon. Later, leave the park and transfer to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park – Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Udzungwa
After breakfast, head into Mikumi National Park for a morning game drive, when wildlife may be active and the cooler conditions can make for an enjoyable safari experience.
Explore different areas of the park in search of wildlife and enjoy the surrounding savannah scenery. After the game drive, leave Mikumi and travel toward the Udzungwa Mountains area.
Arrive at your accommodation, check in and relax. Depending on the confirmed schedule and arrival time, you may have an opportunity to prepare for the following day's hike or take a short walk around the local area.

3
Day 3: Udzungwa Mountains – Guided Forest Hike and Return to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin a guided hike in Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Walk through forest landscapes while discovering the area's plant life, birdlife and remarkable biodiversity.
Depending on the selected trail, your fitness level and trail conditions, the hike may include a visit to a waterfall viewpoint. Take time to enjoy the scenery and capture photographs before returning to the park entrance.
After the hike, enjoy lunch according to your arrangements and begin the return journey to Dar es Salaam. Arrival time will depend on road conditions and the duration of the hike.
Your three-day Southern Tanzania adventure concludes with a combination of wildlife encounters, mountain scenery and forest exploration.
