Itinerary
Day 1
DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Depart from Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, diverse landscapes and large elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive through the park, looking for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and abundant birdlife before continuing to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
DAY 2: TARANGIRE- CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, leave Tarangire and travel toward Serengeti National Park through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon entering the Serengeti, begin exploring the vast plains on a game drive, with opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, leopards, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife. Continue to your camp in Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
DAY 3: FULL DAY SERENGETI SAFARI
Spend a full day exploring Central Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. Search the plains for predators, large herbivore herds and diverse birdlife while enjoying the spectacular scenery of one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. A picnic lunch allows you to maximize your time in the park before returning to camp in the evening.
Day 4
DAY 4: FULL DAY SERENGETI SAFARI
Continue your Serengeti adventure with another full day of game viewing. Explore different areas of the park in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and other wildlife. Your experienced safari guide will help you make the most of the day while searching for memorable wildlife encounters and photographing the stunning Serengeti landscapes.
Day 5
DAY 5: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER & FLY TO ZANZIBAR
Depart early from the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, exploring its remarkable wildlife-rich landscape and searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and other animals. After your crater experience, continue to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beachfront resort and begin your island escape.
Day 6
DAY 6: ZANZIBAR BEACH AND RELAXATION
Enjoy your first full day in Zanzibar relaxing after your safari adventure. Swim in the turquoise waters, unwind on the white-sand beach or enjoy the facilities at your beachfront resort. You can also choose an optional experience such as snorkeling, a spice tour or another island excursion.
Day 7
DAY 7: ZANZIBAR BEACH AND RELAXATION
Spend another relaxing day on Zanzibar’s beautiful coastline. Enjoy the warm Indian Ocean, take a swim, relax beneath the tropical sun or explore the island through an optional activity. With no scheduled safari activities, this day gives you plenty of time to enjoy Zanzibar at your own pace.
Day 8
DAY 8: ZANZIBAR BEACH AND RELAXATION
Continue your Zanzibar beach holiday with another free day to relax and enjoy the island. Spend time on the beach, swim in the clear waters or choose an optional experience such as snorkeling, a spice farm visit or a cultural excursion. Enjoy another peaceful evening at your beachfront resort.
Day 9
DAY 9: ZANZIBAR BEACH RELAXATION
Continue your Zanzibar beach holiday with another free day to relax and enjoy the island. Spend time on the beach, swim in the clear waters or choose an optional experience such as snorkeling, a spice farm visit or a cultural excursion. Enjoy another peaceful evening at your beachfront resort.
Day 10
DAY 10: DEPARTURE FROM ZANZIBAR
Enjoy your final full day in Zanzibar at your own pace. Relax at the resort, spend time by the ocean or explore more of the island through an optional excursion. This is your last opportunity to enjoy Zanzibar’s tropical beaches and laid-back atmosphere before departure.
