DAY
1
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Game Drive
After breakfast in Arusha, meet your Jovial Safaris driver-guide for a safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania before reaching a park famous for its ancient baobab trees, diverse wildlife and impressive elephant populations.
Enjoy a game drive through the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and various antelope species. Keep an eye out for predators such as lions and leopards, although sightings depend on wildlife movements and seasonal conditions.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and transfer to your booked accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Meals: Lunch and dinner
Accommodation: Lodge, tented camp or campsite, depending on the selected package.

2
Day 2: Tarangire Area to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, travelling through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley region and the surrounding highlands.
Depending on your accommodation and route, enjoy views of rural Tanzania and the beautiful highland scenery along the way. Arrive in the Ngorongoro area and proceed to your lodge or camp.
The remainder of the day may be spent relaxing at your accommodation or enjoying an optional cultural experience, subject to availability, location and the agreed itinerary.
Prepare for an early start the following morning as you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife safari.

Accommodation: Lodge, tented camp or campsite in the Ngorongoro area.

DAY
3
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha
Enjoy an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater's varied habitats support a remarkable concentration of wildlife, making it one of Tanzania's most celebrated safari destinations.
Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and other wildlife. With favourable conditions, you may also have an opportunity to spot the endangered black rhinoceros, although sightings are never guaranteed.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your crater visit before ascending from the crater and beginning your return journey to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on road conditions and the duration of the game drive.
Your 3-day Tanzania safari concludes with wonderful memories of Tarangire's wildlife and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.
