DAY
1
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephant and Baobab Safari
After breakfast in Arusha, meet your Jovial Safaris driver-guide for a safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park.
Upon arrival, begin exploring a landscape famous for its ancient baobab trees, open savannah and large elephant populations. Enjoy game drives through the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and various antelope species. Lions and other predators may also be spotted depending on wildlife movements.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and transfer to your designated accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire Area to Serengeti National Park – Journey into the Wild
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, travelling through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Enjoy the changing scenery as you approach the Serengeti, whose vast grasslands support abundant wildlife. Depending on the route and conditions, enjoy a picnic lunch along the way.
Upon entering the Serengeti, embark on a game drive through its wildlife-rich plains. Look out for wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, elephants and predators such as lions and cheetahs.
Continue exploring the park before heading to your designated campsite for dinner and an overnight stay in the Serengeti wilderness.

3
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti National Park Wildlife Safari
Enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full day of wildlife viewing in Serengeti National Park.
Explore different sections of the park with your experienced guide, searching for wildlife across the open plains, riverine areas and rocky outcrops. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeests and zebras associated with the Great Wildebeest Migration.
The Serengeti is particularly famous for its lions, leopards and cheetahs, although sightings depend on natural conditions. Your guide will select suitable routes based on wildlife movements and the time of year.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your game drive before continuing your afternoon exploration. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Serengeti Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife may be active across the plains.
After exploring the park, enjoy breakfast or a picnic meal according to the day's schedule before beginning your transfer toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Travel through the scenic highlands, taking in the beautiful landscapes that connect these two remarkable safari destinations. Depending on the route, there may be opportunities for additional wildlife viewing during the journey.
Arrive at your designated campsite in the Ngorongoro area and enjoy dinner before resting for the final day's crater safari.

5
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive.
Explore the crater floor, where grasslands, wetlands, woodland and water sources support a remarkable diversity of wildlife. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and other species. The crater also provides habitat for the endangered black rhinoceros, although sightings are never guaranteed.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your visit before ascending from the crater and beginning the return journey to Arusha.
Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on road conditions and the day's activities. Your five-day Tanzania safari concludes with wonderful memories of Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
