Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephants and Baobab Trees
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephants and Baobab Trees
After breakfast in Arusha, meet your Jovial Safaris driver-guide for a safari briefing before travelling to Tarangire National Park.
Upon arrival, begin exploring the park's beautiful landscapes, characterised by ancient baobab trees, open grasslands and seasonal river systems. Tarangire is especially famous for its elephants, which are often encountered in impressive numbers.
Enjoy game drives in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and other wildlife. With favourable conditions, you may also spot lions and other predators.
Stop for a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration. Later, leave the park and transfer to your designated accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Forests, Wildlife and Scenic Landscapes
After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a wildlife safari through one of Tanzania's diverse natural environments.
Explore groundwater forests, open grasslands and the areas surrounding the lake. The park supports elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, monkeys and a variety of bird species.
Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed. Your guide will help identify wildlife and explain the park's distinctive ecosystems.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the excursion before continuing your game drive. Later, proceed toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area or Karatu, where you will spend the night before travelling to the Serengeti.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park – Into the Endless Plains

Enjoy the changing scenery as you approach the Serengeti's vast grasslands, famous for their abundant wildlife and the Great Wildebeest Migration.
After entering the park, enjoy a game drive en route to your designated campsite. Search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and predators such as lions and cheetahs.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti National Park Safari
Enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full day of wildlife viewing in Serengeti National Park.
Explore the plains and other suitable wildlife-viewing areas with your experienced driver-guide. The Serengeti supports a remarkable diversity of animals, including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests and numerous antelope species.
Depending on the season, you may also encounter herds associated with the Great Wildebeest Migration. Your guide will select the day's route based on wildlife movements, weather and the time of year.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your game drive before continuing your afternoon adventure. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 5: Serengeti Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro

After the morning safari, enjoy breakfast and continue with your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Depending on your route and schedule, additional wildlife viewing may be possible along the way.
Travel through scenic landscapes toward the Ngorongoro highlands and arrive at your designated campsite in the afternoon or evening.
Enjoy dinner and relax as you prepare for the following day's exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable wildlife safari.
Explore the crater floor, where open grasslands, wetlands, woodland and water sources support a wide variety of animals. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and other wildlife.
The crater is also an important habitat for the endangered black rhinoceros. With luck, you may have the opportunity to see one during your game drive.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending from the crater and beginning your return journey to Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on road conditions and the day's activities.
Your six-day Tanzania safari concludes with wonderful memories of four remarkable wildlife destinations.
